The Vietnamese American Initiative for Development Inc. (VietAID) cordially invites you to join us for our annual New Year’s Day Flag Raising Ceremony on January 1st, 2017 at 9 AM.
Our New Year’s Day Flag Raising Ceremony celebrates and shows respect for our flag, which represents our independence and unity as a nation. This event is being held to honor and pay special tribute to the thousands of men and women who have given their lives in defense of freedom. We thank the many veterans who answered their country’s call to serve and defend democracy.
We will begin with a flag raising ceremony, followed by the national anthem.
Light refreshments will be served.
