1392 Dorchester Avenue:
This is a 12-unit single room occupancy (SRO) project that serves very low and low-income residents. The project was completed in December 2004 and developed in collaboration with Caritas Communities, and our partner shared ownership and most of the property management responsibilities. In July 1, 2005, Viet-AID took over the ownership and management of the property.

Vietnamese American Community Center

The Vietnamese American Community Center:
The Community Center project is the first facility of its kind in the United States, in the heart of Fields Corner. The Center now houses a preschool, health programs, elderly services and many other services serving both Vietnamese and local communities. Viet-AID’s office is also housed at the Community Center. Cultural celebrations, recreational activities, classes and community events take place at the VACC on nights and weekends. The Center was completed in September 2002 with a total project cost of $5 Million.

Faulkner Circle

19-21 Faulkner Street:
It is a 6 family housing project, with 3, three-bedrooms units and 3, two-bedrooms units. It was completed in summer of 2002.
Toledo Ter.

7 Toledo Ter:
It is a 3 family housing project, with 3, two-bedrooms units. It was completed in summer of 2001


1460 Dorchester Avenue:
Viet-AID’s newest project is our largest property development undertaking to date. Viet-AID purchased two buildings and more than 16,000 square feet of land on Dorchester Avenue across from the Fields Corner subway station. Plans include demolishing the existing structures and constructing a new four-story building. The second, third and fourth floors will provide 43 affordable residential units including studios and one-bedroom units, and there will be 5 commercial spaces on the first floor. The project is expected to break ground in the summer of 2007.
