Win-Win Cleaning is a cooperative of local, employee-owned commercial cleaning companies serving Greater Boston since 2002. Win-Win is a joint venture created in 2002 between the Vietnamese American Initiative for Development (Viet-AID) and The ICA Group, a non-profit consultancy established in 1978 that strengthens employee-owned enterprises and community-based projects. The creation of Win-Win has allowed residents in Boston’s economically disadvantaged neighborhoods to achieve economic self-sufficiency, to attain technical skills, and to be successful entrepreneurs. Our clients include prominent community development corporations with an expansive portfolio of residential units to nonprofits to commercial offices.

We value our customers and offer meticulous service at competitive rates. During the course of the contract, a General Manager will be available to answers questions or concerns and to perform quality control visits.

Interested Applicants
Currently, there are eight members of the cooperative. The preponderance of Win-Win’s members performs full-time cleaning, and others use this opportunity to work part-time to supplement their income. Win-Win will negotiate and secure contracts on behalf of participants. In order to join Win-Win Cleaning, applicants must fulfill the following:
Attend 6 Training Workshops (substantial focus on cleaning and business skills);

Franchise Fee;

Win-Win Stock Payment ($500 upfront payment and 4% payroll deduction until $2000 stock certificate paid in full);

Approximately $600-$750 for purchase of equipment and supplies;

Purchase General Liability Insurance (parameters of insurance is set forth by Win-Win);

Workers Compensation (premium based on each participant’s revenue as a percentage of Win-Win’s total revenue);

Attend Monthly Governance Board Meeting.
