Join Our NEW Community Garden in Fields Corner!

Hello community members, leaders, and organizations,

VietAID is happy to present to the neighborhood a new pilot community garden located in Townfield Park with the goal of providing an accessible space for residents to grow their own food. We are currently recruiting around 5-10 gardeners for the pilot program. Since this is a pilot, there will be limited gardening plots and so not everyone will be guaranteed a space. Below are information on signing up:

EligibilityDorchester residents who are experienced with gardening. We are prioritizing residents who don’t have the space to garden at home and low income families.

After the deadline, we will be reaching out to applicants with further instructions. If you have any questions, you can reach out to us at this email address. We would greatly appreciate it if you can share this youth-led initiative with your friends, family, constituents, and network who might be interested in signing up.

We are also thankful for the support of Mayor Michelle Wu, Councilor Brian Worrell, Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune, Councilor Julia Mejia, Chief White-Hammond, Urban Farming Institute, The Food Project, and All Dorchester Sports and Leaderships.

Thank you for your support!
