Re-envision Fields Corner – Next meeting – 6:00pm Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the VACC

January 15, 2013

Dear Fields Corner Community Members & Friends of Viet-AID:

We hope that you have had a holiday season full of joyful memories in the warm spirit of family and friends. Now that we have entered the New Year, we wish you all again a year of happiness, prosperity, and many wonderful things to come. As always, we are thankful for your continuous support. You have contributed, whether directly or indirectly, to building a Fields Corner that is more attractive and vibrant.

We have seen much improvement in Fields Corner over the years; yet, there are still issues and challenges that we are facing to make this place a preferred destination for business and culture. Just over a month ago, we had a meeting to discuss the challenges, the opportunities, our goals, as well as some strategies to make Fields Corner a better neighborhood than it is today. We would like to thank those, who have come to the meeting to express your thoughts, concerns, and ideas on how to make our community the safest and the most attractive neighborhood.

We now would like to invite all those who have attended the meeting, as well as those who have not, to come together once again to discuss further on these topics. Whether you are a community member or just a friend of Viet-AID, we look forward to seeing you and listening to your input at our next meeting on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 6:00pm, at the Vietnamese American Community Center on 42 Charles Street, Dorchester. Your participation will be the first important step in making our neighborhood the ideal place we want to live in. In the spirit of the New Year, let’s make our goals to re-envision and enhance Fields Corner parts of this year’s resolutions.

A light supper will be served. Please let me know whether you are planning to attend, so we could make arrangements for food. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have regarding this meeting or any related topics.

We look forward to welcoming you all to a more exciting Fields Corner.

Yours sincerely,

Nam Pham
Executive Director
