The Boston Foundation has announced the first-ever Giving Common Challenge—a 36-hour online giving event starting at 8:00 am EDT on Wednesday, October 10th and running through 8:00 pm EDT on Thursday, October 11th. During the challenge, VietAID and other participating nonprofits will compete for more than 60 prizes totaling $150,000.
The Giving Common Challenge maximizes your gift in several ways:
Make your lunch hour count! $1,000 will be awarded to the first 10 nonprofits to reach 50 unique donors between noon and 1:00 pm EDT on October 10th. Your donation can make a difference!
Help us win the Power Hour! $1,000 will be awarded to six charities who receive donations during the final hour of the challenge.
Put us on top of the Leader Board! $25,000, $12,000 and $10,000 grand prizes will be awarded to the top three organizations with the most unique online donors and most money raised.
